    I’ve used EA as the sole plugin to use with Elementor for the past month and it’s been no end of problems recently. Basically it’s nice when it works but there are too many issues with it. It breaks every 2-3 days and it’s broken now.

    To be clear, all the issues are in Edit mode. The elements render and work as they should LIVE and Published. But in Edit mode, the elements just break and it becomes impossible to edit anything accurately as nothing appears accurately, so you’re editing “blind”.

    Examples:

    – “Advanced” Accordion appears with content closed and you can’t open it to see and edit content. Well.. you can obviously edit it in the left pane, you just can’t see the changes as they would (should) appear.

    – “Advanced” Accordion appears with all content open and with all padding / margins all over the shop, so the page is just one big mess.

    – Flipbox front and back content both showing, one under the other, all formatting gone, one big mess.

    – Fancy heading shifts bottom margins or padding or both (impossible to tell which) so that anything below covers the Fancy Heading text.

    Seriously, it’s one big mess and totally unusable. I don’t have many plugins, 11 in total and have uninstalled them all but still the issue persists.

    Again, the issues are all in Edite mode. Everything works properly Live.

    Can anyone help?

    @ozalcin,

    I am sorry to hear that you are facing some issues with Essential Addons. Well, sounds like the issue of yours is actually caching related. Have you already tried regenerating assets from Elementor -> Tools and Essential Addons -> Tools?

    Besides, make sure to clear your browser cache or hard-refresh your page as well. The issue won’t be appearing again.

    Hi Rafin,

    Thanks for the feedback. I had indeed cleared cache (WP and browser), regenerated assets (both Elementor and EA) with no joy. That was my frustration.

    I did it again just now + hard refresh (which I never did before) and the issue is solved.

    So a hard refresh was what was missing..?

    Well, seems like the cache on your browser wasn’t cleared, hence you were facing such an issue. Anyways, I am glad that it’s resolved now.
