Lightbox only displays in preview mode

Hiya
This is a friend’s site, which has been working properly for years… a couple of upgrades recently though have left it with a lightbox that only loads in preview mode.

https://www.companyofjustice.com/photos/ not so much.
I’ve tried disabling all the other plugins, and using the 2020 them (and 2018)… to no avail. Developer mode has been enabled.
Any help, much appreciated.
