• Hello!

I am using Semrush as a SEO tool and in my site audit reports it tells me I have 90 URLs with a permanent redirect to: /lost-password/?page_id=69 (it’s on my home page, product category pages

This problem was first detected in january, after I made our /my-account page to a draft. I made this into a draft since we have never used the function (people shop at our website as guests).

Now I’ve talked to Semrush customer support mulitple times but I still am not sure how to fix this problem or what it even means.

Could you please tell me how remove this problem?

The only thing I have done so far is I made a redirect from /lost-password/?page_id=69 to the home page.

    Best regards,
    Isabella

  • Hey @isabella92 !

It sounds like you are wanting to disable the My Account page. When you did this your site is now showing that you have links redirecting to “/lost-password/?page_id=69”.

This is happening because WooCommerce takes control of the Lost Password function for WordPress when activated. The My Account page has many actions that are used to control the account. Most are specific to WooCommerce except for Lost Password and potentially Logout. Since you have removed the page that these actions are tied to WordPress is not able to send the user to those pages.

In order to fix this, you can go to “WooCommerce ? Settings ? Advanced” and scroll down to the Endpoints. You will want to empty the boxes for “Logout” and “Lost Password”. It should look like this:

Doing this will change the links from “/my-account/lost-password” back to “/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword”.

    I hope this helps : )
