[Plugin: Customize Your Community] ‘check_pass_strength’ is undefined

  • Hello,
    It seams like the WordPress embedded check-password-strength functionality in
    user-edit.php is not being carried over properly when using CYK.

    When a user access his/her CYK-user profile they get the following java console error:
    ‘check_pass_strength’ is undefined in profile.php

    WordPress version 2.8.5
    Plugins: CYK version 1.2.1
    URL: localhost for the time being
    Browsers: IE 8.0.6, Firefox 3.0.15

    Is anyone able to provide any insight into this? I’m getting the same error…

    wp version: 2.9.2
    plugin: cyk v 1.2.1
    browser: IE8

    I managed to solve that – see fixed and enhanced version at https://ootips.org/yonat/cyc.php.gz

    I have the same problem. I use the Customize Your Community plugin. Don’t know if this the reason of the problem.

    The solution is to add the password-meter script and copy the password strength css styles.

    What problems are you getting with the download from ootips.org?
