Test mails failing.

    Even after reinstalling the WP mail SMTP, the test mails failed. I have checked the smtp data thrice, and it matches the one on cpanel.
    There was a problem while sending the test email.
    The error log shows:

    Please help.

    It looks like there’s some issue with the email validation library in PHP 7.4. For more details, please see this support thread. We are also looking for possible solutions of this issue. In the meantime, you could downgrade to PHP 7.3 by contacting your hosting provider.
