No, the invoice will remain the same. In the Professional extension we provide Credit Notes for refunded orders, plus we have also another extension for professional customers that provides the same functionality for cancelled orders. The free version is limited in that regard.

Due to accounting laws in many countries the invoices can’t be cancelled.
