• Dear community,

I have a problem with WordPress, which I hope someone could help me with. My site is running fine and so is the RSS feed, which I combined with Google’s Feedburner so people can subscribe.

The only thing that I notice now that even when I have a link in the text before the < – more – > tag, in the RSS feed only the text of the link is showing and not the actual tag. This is frustrating, because I need the link to appear in my RSS feed so that it works with https://www.twingly.com (so that my site will appear at a major newsletter which gives a backlink to bloggers who link to their article).

Can anyone help me to find out how to have links in the original article appear also in the feed (which is not a full article feed btw).

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for your reply Esmi,

I hope I could be helped without revealing my site url, as I don’t want to have it appear in google’s index under this topic.

Could you be of any help?

If it helps any, site urls posted in the forum are automatically displayed with the “nofollow” attribute which Google should honour. as for your feed issue, I’d really need to have a look at your site’s RSS feed to ensure that it is being generated correctly. In many cases, the feed is fine and any outstanding issues are with the recipient site (ie the one picking up the feed). You need to remember that RSS feeds are not meant to be viewed in a web browser. They are files that third party sites can pick up, parse and then display according to their own needs. So if your links are correctly referenced within your RSS feed, twingly.com should be able to deal with them appropriately at their end.
