Redirection from checkout to confirmation

    Hello,

    I installed the free version of the plug in to test and i have two questions:

    1. When I enter all information in the checkout page, then click “register”- it doesn’t directs me to the confirmation page (I choose from the dropdown my own welcome page) and instead – it derects me to the same checkout page, but already the user is created and in the page says that I’m already logged in. So what could have done wrong? How can I have automatic redirection from checkout page to confirmation page?

    2. I installed the mailchimp addon, but when I make a test registeration – it does not assign the registered email to the e-mail I point to sign when the person is registered. I didn’t understand what exactly should I put in “Non-member Audiences” and “Opt-in Audiences”, and also I didn’t want to have Mailchimp list option in the checkout form, so I didn’t place anything in these two options.

    I put just my maichimp api key and filled Membership Levels and Audiences area with where I want people from different levels to be signed in Mailchimp. But when registration – it doesn’t asign the new member in the mailchimp list?

    I will be gratefull if you can help me solve these two questions. ?? Thank you!

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    1. Can you confirm that you have all the required pages setup? What payment gateway are you using? This is not default behavior of Paid Memberships Pro, once a checkout is successful, user’s will be automatically redirected to the confirmation page.

    2. Please can you open a support ticket on the MailChimp page here – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pmpro-mailchimp/ (These support forums should be questions only relating to Paid Memberships Pro (core) features.).

    I’ll touch briefly on this, please can you select an audience/list next to the membership level names, this will automatically assign users to that list when they purchase the relevant level.

    Hello,

    1. Yes, I used the automated option to create the pages. The only thing that I did – 2 of the pages are without headline (I mean I delete the page headline, but the page adress is the same) and I changed the confirmation page with other welcome page created from me. I Tryed with the automaticaly created confirmation page, but it doesn’t redirect again. Here: https://www.venetadimitrova.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Pages.png
    The payment gatwey is Braintree.

    Just to make sure – the possibility to add members manually in the member area is oayid feature?

    You are able to add members manually by editing their WordPress user profile and assign their membership level.

    There is the Add Member From Admin Add On that allows you to create the user and assign a membership level at the same time.

    Would you mind testing your checkout with another gateway, you may use the ‘Test’ gateway. Please let me know if this works.

    Sorry for bumping this, I think the MailChimp issue is related to your checkout issue. Once the user is assigned a membership level they will be assigned to the relevant audience.

    Hello,

    I put the test gateway: https://www.venetadimitrova.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/test.png

    But in the chekcout page it says: A Payment Gateway must be set up before any payments will be processed. Here: https://www.venetadimitrova.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/payment.png

    I don’t have any other payment getway account except Braintree.

    I have Paypal standart, but I see with that option can not be subscription.

    The test gateway will show a warning as it won’t charge a user’s card and you can put in dummy data when checking out. After running your test, you may revert back to your live payment gateway.

    Do you think I have to recretae again the pages or something like that?

    I think something else is interfering with this, what plugins are you currently using on your site?

    Please can you ensure that the pages contain the correct shortcodes. These shortcodes are displayed under the page settings when assigning pages, if your pages have incorrect shortcodes assigned to them this may cause a malfunction too.

    yes, the shortcodes are correct. In the regsitration and checkout pages except the shortcode – I put additional text, but that shouldn’t be problem, right?

    We don’t have a way to reset this easily. Would you mind disabling all plugins except Paid Memberships Pro and let me know if this issue persists?
