• Hello,

I have a very small website.
It’s a portfolio gallery with a small ecommerce with a bunch of products.

I installed the last version of Yoast.
I clicked the “Click here to speed up yous site” button and, from what I remember, it was analyzed something like 2000 “stuff”…
    After 40 minutes I read

    30.000 of 2.000 etc…

and it doesn’t stop. It continued…
So, I restored my old website, install the new Yoast version, but I didn’t want to press this button again =)

    Suggestion?

    Hi @scarpinoc

Sorry to see you’re having issues!

Which version of Yoast SEO are you on?

    Today version =) 14.0.1

I’m not very expert and I don’t want to “destroy” something inside my website…

Another strange thing after the 14.0.1 installation is the ITA translation.

I didn’t press on the “Click here to speed up yous site” button (in ITA: Rendi il tuo sito più veloce). And the translation is fine here.

But, above this button I read:

“Il processo per rendere più veloce il tuo sito è in corso”

    The ENG translation is:

“The process of making your site faster is underway”

    Why “underway”? What??? I didn’t do nothing…

    Ok,

as I can see, v14.0.1 has too many problems.
I restored again my yesterday backup, with Yoast v13.5

I will wait a new versions.

@scarpinoc @tjalexander70 If you update to the most current version of Yoast SEO version 14.0.4, does this resolve the issue? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    Hi devnihil,

@loggins @newgiuseppe are you using a multilingual plugin by any chance?

Same problem here. Yoast Premium 14.0.4 with WP 5.4.1 and WPML 4.3.12

Ok so unfortunately you’re going to have to wait for WPML to update, until then I’d advise reverting to 13.5. We’ve reached out to every major plugin that integrates with us weeks ago, but I don’t know where they stand on this.

To revert to the 13.5 version, please uninstall the 14.x.x version and install the 13.5 version.

For free plugin users, please download the 13.5 version at the bottom of advanced options for Yoast SEO.
