    hi,

If i downgrade from 4.01 > 3.9.3 will the new database changes from 4.01 also be reversed?
if not, how can I manually revert the DB tables to 3.9.3 format?

My issue stems from a 3rd party plugin that is not yet compatible with 4.01, which is why im reverting, but it is throwing errors after downgrading.

    thank you

    art

    Hi there,

To answer your question: No, installing an earlier version of WooCommerce only affects the files, databases remain the same.

To roll back database changes would require reverting to an earlier version of the database as well. This is possible if you, or your hosting provider, have database backups available.

Fair warning though: By reverting databases, you’ll also be “losing” orders/customers/products that have been added between the revert-date and today’s date.

Ryan ive had others just tell me that when i upgrade, the DB structures actually change: https://woocommercecommunity.slack.com/archives/C1KAZ91E3/p1588167045468200?thread_ts=1588147734.425500&cid=C1KAZ91E3

which makes sense since the plugin warned me of it when i decided to upgrade.

    cheers
