    Hello, any news on this?
Only ADMIN can edit the galleries still.

If it’s an issue that can’t be fixed, just let me know. I have the client whose website I created waiting for me to hand it over. I need to know whether to use a different gallery plugin or not (and if so, recreate the galleries again for that website). I can’t give the client ADMIN permissions to the site, just EDITOR permission.
    Thank you.

  • Yes please, I got the same problem and 2 weeks ago someone from the support told here it will be fixed in the next plugin update but it wasn’t. Please I need to know if it will be fixed. Thank you so much.

    Dear @heatherbodlak and @docampowales,

    We have had some delays.

I am sorry for making you wait this long.

Please find the latest version here. It will go live as well.

Thank you – I am going to wait to be able to update the plugin in the wordpress dashboard area… Not sure how to update the plugin with the downloaded file.

How do I update the plugin with the downloaded file?

    The safest way is:
You can deactivate Photo Gallery in the plugin area of WordPress and then delete the files in the path:
    / your Domain / wp-content / plugins / photo-gallery
    via ftp.
Then unzip the download file and copy it there via ftp.
Then activate PhotoGallery in the plugin area.

Or wait a little longer. If they say that they are releasing an update, they do so. It can only take a while.

Thanks. I just updated the plugin now. But now, it doens’t even show up for EDITOR ??
I am trying to use User Role Permissions to give Editors persmission to edit the galleries, but I can’t find how.

    Can anyone help?
    thank you.

    Dear @heatherbodlak,

Did you try to add a user from Users >https://nimb.ws/FUSpd2?

    Thank you,

Hmmm No, the issue before was that an Editor user could see the plugin, but it would bring them here to the support page.

I have added a user (with Editor permission) before, and after…
but I simply cannot give the editor permission to edit the Photo Galleries in the free verision.
I didn’t realize this until too late ??

I thought maybe there would be something I could edit here, but I cannot find where

    Dear @heatherbodlak,

The premium version has an option to choose user role which can add and edit galleries, images, gallery groups and tags.

Please contact our support team using the following form to get more details on the premium version.

    Sincerely,
