Can anyone help or advise with this please? Yoast told me to speak to my hosts and my hosts are saying it’s a Yoast issue!

“Yoast SEO was unable to create the database tables required and as such will not function correctly.
Please read this help article to find out how to resolve this problem.”

This is the response from my hosts:

    JAYNE,

The database user privileges are fine and that is not causing the issue. You need to get in touch with the plugin developer and tell that the database privileges are fine and confirmed multiple times. It seems to be an issue on their end as I’ve encountered multiple clients having the same issue using the same plugin. Also, they were on different servers.

So this is not a server related issue as we have not made any changes to the configurations. I can see from the PHP error log file that the WordPress database is having an error. The file is php.errors.lg. Please provide the log to a developer and he can fix it for you.

Feel free to get back to us for any further assistance on this.
