Header image not displayed

  • Hi,
    Since update 5.4.1 – fr_FR, my header image no longer appears on the main page of my site as well as on the lower level page. But then the header image appears correctly on all the other pages.
    It measures the right size 940×198 pixels and there was no problem with previous versions. In the old version, I replaced the path.jpg file to display it instead of the standard image.
    In this new version, I used the new theme customization menu to download the picture from my PC. But no header photo proposed by the theme works on these first two pages either.

    Cool … I feel less alone … especially when there is no response from the support. ??

    Looks like a bug report has been sent to whoever is running the WP show.
    Hopefully, they won’t wait too long to push out an update.

    What is very curious is that my other pages — other than my homepage — correctly display the header image. When I create a new page, the header image appears, without issue.

    I am in the process of creating a new homepage (with the header image) and will attempt to replace the current homepage (without the header image) with the new page. If that “workaround” is successful, I’ll let you know.

    The problem was with the S2 plugin. It was conflicting with WP. Rather than waiting for S2 to resolve the conflict, I removed the S2 plugin and my site operates normally.

    Thanks you, but I don’t know what is the “S2 pluging”… None of my extensions have such a name ! :/
