No data from analytics to Google Site Kit plugin

2) Have you recently installed Site Kit and connected Analytics? It may take some time for the data to sync/ populate if you’ve just connected it.

The site url is analuartes.pt.

I have installed this plugin almost 5 days ago.

When I look at the source code of your site I see two code snippets for Analytics, but they do not appear to be from Site Kit.

One looks like it is manually inserted and the other perhaps from a plugin.

In general, there should be one snippet on the site. For Site Kit, you can use another code snippet, but let’s check if it is detecting this in the settings.

Could you navigate to Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit and check if Site Kit shows that the snippet is inserted by another plugin or theme?

I have installed a plugin “GAinWP Google Analytics Integration for WordPress” using one of the codes. The other i dont know.

In Site Kit the Analytics Code Snippet shows “Inserted by another plugin or theme”.

@josecarlosamaral thanks for your reply. It seems the second snippet is inserted manually, possibly through your theme files.

I’m not sure if this is affecting the data coming through at this moment, but if this insertion is not intended you can try to remove it.

While it typically takes less time, some cases may take a little longer to populate data. I would like to keep your topic open and check with you in the next couple days to see if the data has populated to be sure.

I found the other snippet and i removed it.

I uninstalled the Site Kit and now I have this error and I can’t reinstall.

Last problem was solved, but with no snippet that i removed give me this error “Error: The response is not a valid JSON response.”
If i put the snippet the plugin works but whithout data.

@josecarlosamaral I can see two different code snippets remaining on your site. Can you follow the steps below and inform me whether you encounter the same JSON error notice?
1. Reset Site Kit
2. Remove any existing tracking snippets. Ensure they are removed by checking your sites source code and looking for any UA- references.
3. Temporarily deactivate any caching plugins
4. Attempt Site Kit setup once more
5. When connecting the Analytics module ensure you are tracking all website data

Once you’ve performed the above it make take some time for your dashboards to start populating, but let us know if you encounter any errors. If so please share your Site Health information and we can troubleshoot further.

@josecarlosamaral Thanks for the update. Can you attempt setup after temporarily deactivating any additional plugins while also switching to a default WordPress theme?

After resetting Site Kit please check from a browser incognito window.

If that fails please share your Site Health information so we can try and reproduce the issue.

First step i already did and dont work.

I have installed the plugin in two sites and the behavior is the same. No data populated in the graphic.
