I’ve used Category Mapping for all of my products. In Field Mapping, I set “g:google_product_category” to be “Category path”. While the values are appearing in the CSV, the format is incorrect. It is showing up as “>” but needs to be simply “>”. Same goes for “&” which instead needs to be “&”. Is there a way to specify the output format? This is a required format for Pinterest.

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

The g:google_product_category needs to be mapped to the Category attribute and not to the category path otherwise the category ID’s of Google’s category taxonomy do not end up in the g:google_product_category field (that is what that category mapping is meant for).

The category path attribute needs to be mappped to the g:product_type field.

Please make sure to create the feed in XML format so the > encoding is correct.
