    Hi

I had installed your plug in on another site through CPanel, and I was amazed at what a great app it was.
I had already finished that site, so I didn’t use it there.
But I’ve been trying to use it on a second site, and it doesn’t come up on either site.
I’ve installed & uninstalled a half dozen times. s there any way to reset the settings? Every time I reinstall it it has the old settings I had used, and they may be interfering with it.

Also tried clearing browser cache, and installed WP Super Cache and cleared the cache there.

Thanks for any help, great app, want to use it!

Looking at the page you shared a link to…

There are only two headings on the page. To have a TOC display on this page. Please navigate to the Table of Contents settings admin page.

Ensure support for Pages is enabled.
Ensure that auto insert for Pages is enabled.
Change the Show When option to 2.
    Save the changes.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks so much. I figured it out, it works and looks great. The Table of Contents also doesn’t show on the editing page, but it shows on the published page. So I think in some cases I may have been just looking at the editing page.

Do you know, is there any code to center or right-align the TOC?

    Thanks again.

ahhh, yes, the post does need to be published. The TOC is not shown while editing the page.

For centering and alignment, you can create custom CSS and put it in the theme’s Custom CSS area in the Customizer.

    I hope this helps!

I found I was able to right align it by using Appearance > Float > Right. Seems to be working for now.

I’m wondering about the spacing underneath the TOC. I would like to put a space under the TOC, before the header, to match the other formatting.

I’ve tried putting in <br> and <p> </p> right before the header, and after the [toc], but still no space.

Is there an easy way to do this?

    Thanks for your feedback.

You can create custom CSS and put it in the theme’s Custom CSS area in the Customizer to add the margins your desire.
