Simple Private Video on other post type

    I am unable to use the WP Private Video in the old editor (wp_editor) as an [tag], which would be very handy since I am working on an integration with a plugin (Buddypress) that does not support Gutenberg so I am stuck there

    It is a block for the new WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) so it cannot work outside of where WP blocks are enabled.

    Darn it! Can you point us to a similar plugin that takes self-hosted videos that we CAN use in the classic editor??? I have found a couple terribly outdated plugins, but need something current if I can’t use yours.
