• I cannot login and see my dashboard – I get this error message on a blank screen:

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /var/www/clients/client71/web360/web/wp-content/plugins/leadin/src/admin/class-links.php on line 220

It might be that my php is outdated but I can’t access the dashboard to try and fix it.

    Any ideas please?

  • Hi,

It seems one of your plugin is causing this issue.

Login to your website via FTP and delete the plugin Leadin to restore the website to normalcy.

Once you’ve removed the plugin, let its authors know about the issue. I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/leadin/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

You can just rename the folder /var/www/clients/client71/web360/web/wp-content/plugins/leadin/ to deactivate the Plugin.

Thank you all for your help. I am unable to login via FTP. It is saying that the server accepted the user name but gave an authentication error with the password. Could this be because I am working from home during lockdown and not through our work server at the office? I contacted our host but have not heard back from them – I am assuming that they are not available during our country lockdown. Is there any other way to login and delete the plugin? My login details are:

    Kind regards,
    Clare

Claire, this is an open forum. Leaving any private information here, especially login/password is dangerous.
We (and you) have no idea who can use this and for what. The purpose can be very malicious.
I have cleaned your post. But you definitely should change your FTP login/pass
and treat your site as possibly compromised. In worst case – your entire hosting account.

Please contact your host. They’re probably working from home, too.
