Default Sorting behaving weirdly

  • On the home page, the default sorting was working fine till a few days ago. It was working in alphabetical order. This is the way I want.

    But now when I add new products, irrespctive of alphabetical order the new products appear at the top. Screenshot below

    Do you have any caching plugins that could potentially be causing this issue?

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @sarojweb

    Try going to WooCommerce>Status>tools and clear transients

    If that doesn’t work, This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with another plugin.
    ?
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Tried clearing transients, deactivating plugins and themes.

    Repeated all the process, still the issue remains.

    Also for your information, I didn’t added any plugin when this issue arised.

    Hello, it has been over three weeks, can we solve the problem please? It is causing a lot of extra work. We have tested everything we can think of and everything you’ve suggested so far. Can someone work directly with us and log in to take a look?
