Layout position

Hi,

I’m new to WordPress and I’d like to know if is possible changing the position of layout “objects”. Like placing archives table at left, etc…

I didn’t install wordpress yet cause I’m awating for my host reply. I dont know if MySQL version is the one requested by WP.
