    Hi,

    Since version 14.0.1/2/3/4 I have duplicate <title> in the header.

    I use a custom Title like this :

    wp_title(‘|’, true, ‘right’); + some variable

    Before version 14, Yoast SEO was able to detect the new title and didn’t add his own title between the markers tag (This site is optimized bla bla bla…)

    Now, i have 2 differents <title> tags. How can i remove the one Added by Yoast?

    Thank you for your help.

  • @ulissse,

    Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

    If you have more than one title meta tag, please run a conflict check to determine what other features on your site outputs the duplicate title(s).

    Further, please check out this Knowledge Base that discusses and provides solution to resolving such issue.

    @suascat_wp,

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    To me, the only conflict is comming from Yoast SEO since version 14 because version 13.5 is working very well!

    Hi @ulissse ,

    We apologize, that definitely should not be happening. Running a conflict check will let us determine what is adding the duplicate title tag and check if it’s a problem on our end.

    Can you please send us a link to the affected page so that we can check what the problem might be?
