• I have a problem with WP Super Cache.

    To find the problem, I deactivated and removed it. After this, I reinstalled it.

    Than I activated the caching and the debug status information.

    Now I used my browser (Google Chrome) to view a post.

    At the buttom of the HTML source, there is a hint:

    <!-- Dynamic page generated in 0.175 seconds. -->
    <!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2020-05-08 07:43:00 -->

    <!-- super cache -->

    Inside the file system, I see the cached file too.

    But if I reload the page inside my browser, the cache will be generated and saved new.

    What is my mistake?

    Inside my browser, I’m not logged in. I tested the problem with Firefox and MS Edge too with the same result.

    Inside the “WP Super Cache Log Viewer”, I don’t see any log. How can I show it? I tried to click to the [Submit] button, but I still don’t see any file or something else.

    Am I too stupid, or what can I do to solve this problem?

    For testing, I disabled all other plugins and don’t use my child theme.

    Best thing to do is enable debugging in the plugin and look at the debug log. It’ll tell you what the plugin is doing and may warn you about why it’s not storing the cache file, or serving the right one.
