Cannot get nav menu to sticky to the middle of column on various viewport sizes.

  • It’s just endless problems to do what seems to be a simple thing.

    The page consists of two sections, nav menu on the left with a logo, and a gallery on the right. I am trying to get the nav menu + logo to stay stickied in the middle of the left column, so that only the content on the right scrolls.

    These are the problems
    1. The page will start glitching when scrolling down.
    2. The middle of the column does not sticky to the center on various viewport sizes, because I can not set a relative unit for the sticky offset.
