    About 5 months ago I started a support topic about changes to Ultimate member that were affecting me. See at bottom of this message.
    I had a couple of responses, and nothing for 4 months, despite me posting asking for assistance.
    Is anyone out there at all that can respond to my original message or this one.
    Still only has one search box that searches entire database, not just the specific boxes with key words.
    Still got a huge gap on the page.

    I’ve done the upgrade to Ultimate Member and my database as requested, and now have a single field for my search – is this right!!
    So previously, as you’ll see on the page, I had search boxes for name, keyword, suburb/town.
    Members completed these fields based on what they wanted the public to be able to search on.
    But now it seems we have one field for everything.
    So if I put in ‘yoga’, before I would have got everyone that wants to be found by someone searching for yoga, now we get anyone who has mentioned the word ‘yoga’ anywhere on their profile. They may not be a yoga teacher or working with yoga teachers, maybe when they were 10 they did a yoga lesson, but they still come up.
    And then it has ‘more filters’ and comes up with ‘type’ which is the first of the search fields I have in the profile, but only the first. If it came up with the others that would be ok.
    This page is for finding teachers, but now when you go into ‘type’ you can see all the other ‘types’, select them, and have then come up on the screen. I definitely don’t want ‘students’ to appear when someone is searching for type, this has never been a searchable category.
    So what are my options – how do I firstly get rid of this ‘type’ search and then bring back the ones I use to have.’

    Found out how to get rid of the ‘type’ thankfully, but very limited range of things to add on. Still need help with rest.

    Hey Champ Chamba, this thread has only been inactive for a while because your support team haven’t bothered to respond to my original message for months and now expect me to respond really quickly, and over a weekend. Give me a break here!!

    How am I supposed to give you a screenshot of ‘previous’ things?
    My search fields that I have setup in each users profile are:
    – First name
    – Surname
    – Search Words
    – Suburb/Town

    So visitors to the page could use search boxes for both of those, or use the ‘Map’ to search by a location.

    Now if they put in say ‘yoga’ into the search box, they will get anyone who mentions anywhere in their profile that they teach or have done ‘yoga’ anytime in their life, instead of finding a user that is currently teaching yoga.

    Just saw this, didn’t get any notification that you’d responded.
    Your link takes me to a ‘prepurchase’ page for support, which isn’t correct, I’ve already purchased.
    And then there is something about paying $249 for support – what does all that mean?
