Conflict with Tagmanager

    Hey guys,

    Wanted to let you know that there is a conflict with the plugin and google tag manager it seems that if you implement analytics via tag manager some you getting an error from the google tag assistance extension. because site kit is injecting the script as well.
    so there are two implementations of the tracking script.

    the error I was getting is Same web property ID is tracked twice

  • @osherezra3363 thanks for your report! At the current moment, Site Kit cannot detect Google Analytics deployed through Tag Manager.

    In this case, you’ll need to choose either Site Kit’s snippet or the Tag Manager implementation to insert the tracking ID on the site. If you choose Tag Manager, go to Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit to remove Site Kit’s snippet and configure the Account, Property, View of your Analytics account to make use of Site Kit’s dashboards.
