Cannot modify header information

    Hi everybody!

    I’ve spent hours reading on this forum and on faq’s about this topic, I have tried a lot, but my problem is still there when I logged in as a contributor. I don’t have the problem when I log as admin or author.

    I am host with 1and1.

    Here is the warning :
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/18/d294248312/htdocs/irresistibles/wp-admin/post-new.php:1) in /homepages/18/d294248312/htdocs/irresistibles/wp-includes/functions.php on line 784

    Does anyone has an idea?

  • Try downloading a fresh copy of WordPress 2.8.2 and re-uploading the wp-admin folder.

    Did you really mean WordPress 2.8.2? That means downgrading version…

    Sorry – no. I mis-read your version. Should be WP 2.8.5

    Did you hack some of the core files? Perhaps there might be a theme-specific method of inserting these hacks so that you don’t lose everything again during the next upgrade?

    I redesign all the themes – in fact, I choose only the 3 columns and a clean code to modify – and I remove a few options in the post form as visibility, tags, excerpt, custom fields…

    After I upgraded to 2.8.6 I had to do some modification on the form. It took about 30 minutes, no big deal.
