WP 5.4.1 self hosted access via Android app

    Hi all,

    I have set up my self hosted WP 5.4.1 site and have made it available via external dns (https://my.website.com).

    However when using the WordPress app on my android phone I cannot add my self hosted site. It says it is not a WordPress blog but that is wrong.

    When googeling I have been pointed to xmlrpc and have called xmlrpc.php which tells me that only POST requests are supported.

    Does anybody have an idea how to check the root cause for this?

    Any hint would be great.
