Woocommerce checkout breaks for German language

    Hello for one of my sites which has multiple languages (EN, ES,DE)
    the checkout seems to be broken when I select the language as DE,
    I checked the error in the console it seems like state json is broken due to translation.
    as a temporary fix, I commented out the state name from the list in woocommerce plugin where json was getting a break

    ‘SV’ => __( ‘Ștefan Vodă’, ‘woocommerce’ ),

    I commented this from woocommerce/i18n/states.php on line 772
