    Dear,

Please check this video, you’ll see the PDF that shows data that are not as per the orders page.

The total is correct but the last raw of product shows an amount that I don’t understand how it’s calculated in PDF.

    Thanks

In the free simple template, all the calculations in the prices are done by WooCommerce. But I suspect that the 9,80 is simply a before-discount amount. As you can see in the totals, the total discount is 3,82, and 5.65+0.34+3.82 = 9.81 which is ~9.80 (taking rounding into account). Calculating it based on the 6% tax I get the same amount, (5.65+3.60)*1.06 = 9.805.

If you think this is not correct, please check the order item prices in the WooCommerce email, they should be the same as in our plugin (assuming you have not made any changes to the template / price calculations yourself).

    Dear,

Indeed I’ve made modification to the order, as many many businesses could have to, because the 6% VAT was not properly assigned to the product, so for legal purpose I had to modify it.

This means that whatever changes I do in the order should be reflected in the bill. If it’s not reflected, it will cause problems to a lot of businesses (not just only me).

    Thanks

I’m not sure if I understand you correctly (whether your last message means it’s resolved or not), but as far as I can see all the data is correct in the invoice? The line items are all before discount, discount is then applied (/subtracted) in the totals.

    9.50+14.50+12.50+9.80=43.60 ??
    43.60-3.82+5.71=48.19 ??

again, none of these calculations are made by the PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin, it’s what WooCommerce passes to our plugin and should be exactly the same as what is shown in the email. Is this not the case?

The total is the same because the changes I did was adjust the last line’s price, but keeping the total the same. This is why the total is still showing the same.

But my point is that it’s WRONG to not show the changes as per the what’s on the screen! It’s doesn’t matter what was in the initial order mail sent by WooCommerce because this information becomes null from the moment that some changes are done.

The perspective that you are taking here is wrong. If I do changes, this change must be shown in the PDF! I’ve changed the price of the last line, so it must appear in the bill, otherwise it’s totally wrong

I’m sorry if I misunderstand this, but the changes ARE shown in the invoice… The discount you applied to the line item is shown in the totals, thus reflecting the changes you made.

You changed the prices, by adding a discount of 3.60 (price) + 0.22 (tax), totalling 3.82.
This is exactly what is shown in the invoice (before the change, that discount would not have been shown in the totals). Can you tell me what you expect to see? Your original question was to ask how this was calculated and I explained that the line items are always before discount (so the original price) and that the discount is printed in the totals (and subtracted from the subtotal). But perhaps I misunderstood what you are trying to accomplish.

By WooCommerce email I was not referring to the email that was sent before you made your changes, but the email that WooCommerce sends after these changes (if you manually resend it to yourself for example).

    further to my last message:
If you want to change the actual price (instead of applying a discount), you have to edit both the gray “Before discount” amount and the black “Total” amount in the line item edit mode. It will then simply be the new price (in the line item) and not shown as a discount (in the totals).

Would it be possible to post a screenshot here that shows exactly the edit you made in the line item (e.g. if you click the edit button again)? That may help me understand what you did.
