Breaks all ajax calls, admin-ajax.php 403 error on frontend for some reason
-
I started having admin-ajax.php 403 (forbidden) error on the frontend. The site kept working for admin users, but for some reason ajax calls didn’t go through for anonymous visitors. I located the error down to this plugin. Deactivating it fixed the website.
It took me hours of searching to figure it out. The plugin itself is very limited in the free tier and made me accidentally use all the 20 free plagiarism checks in a single article, as the UX is just terrible. I switched to Grammarly Online for checking the content for plagiarism, not as convenient but at least it doesn’t break my site.
