• I followed the steps to host Google fonts locally. Download Webfonts, upload them, edit CSS, etc.

However, they don’t show on my frontend after I turn on the option “Disable Google Fonts”. When I turn it off they come back but the same old gstatic and googleapis requests are made which means they’re not local.

Does this function in Clearfy mean Google Fonts are blocked in general on my entire website or does this just refer to the gstatic and googleapis requests which should be blocked?

    Cheers,
    Stan

  • Hello.

When this option is enabled, the plugin searches for “fonts.googleapis.com/css” in the URL of style files. If it finds them, it blocks the connection of this file.
