You’re saying this plugin violates the plugin guidelines? The one that says credit must be opt-in and not opt-out? The one that can lead to this plugin’s removal from the WordPress repo? And all plugin author’s should get that right?

Is this true @tomeraharon @galdub @premio ? Do I need to install the plugin myself to see for sure?

@jdembowski thanks for bringing this to our attention, we weren’t aware of this guideline. We’ve now fixed this issue, the credit link is removed.

I’m a forum moderator and this plugin violated the guidelines (conditions) for hosting code here.

I’m not on the team that can remove plugins from www.ads-software.com but I do communicate with them all the time.

Any plugin that makes a powered by or credit link mandatory or you have to pay to remove it has to fix that in short order and not do it again or they risk having their plugins removed from this site. That’s what I’m going on about.
