    Hi,

everytime I try to edit my functions.php file (on my staging site) I get this error message:
Something went wrong and it is possible that your savings were not changed. Try again. Potentially you might have to correct the file manually and upload it manually via FTP.

I spoke to our web hosting and they said they couldn’t help me and that I should reach out to Woocommerce.

I have tried a few different times with 2 different codes but with no luck.

The testing site is about 2 months ago I think. This is my first time using a test site.

This is the code I am trying to implement (that I received recently from Flatsome customer support): https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-remove-add-cart-add-view-product-loop/

    Best regards,
    Isabella

  • @isabella92 – I’m sorry you’re having this trouble. I’m also sorry you’ve been bounced around a bit. Unfortunately, we (WooCommerce) do not have any control over your functions.php file. This type of file is controlled solely by your theme developers.

I would suggest reaching back out to Flatsome for further help here, as they’re the only ones that may be able to assist (since your hosting provider has already checked on their end).

If Flatsome is unwilling to help, you may consider speaking with a private developer. We highly recommend contacting one of the services on our Customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

    Sorry again!
