Make a page with external link help

    I’m trying to make a page that lists links to other websites. I enter in the hyperlink but when I view the page the external links look like thiese

    https://.mysite.com/www.externalsite.com

    Am I going about this wrong. I just want a page that I can list other websites on. I want to put a link to this page in my sidebar.
