How to turn off popup bubble with text on mobile?

Hi, I have the same problem and I don’t know how to solve it.

Same here, can anyone write custom CSS for that plug-in to not popup on mobile/desktop devices?

Use the correct quotation marks (don’t use ’) or omit quotation marks altogether. My last 3 lines in facebook-messenger-customer-chat.php are as follows:

page_id=”.get_option( ‘fbmcc_pageID’ ).”
logged_out_greeting=Hi there.
greeting_dialog_display=hide

Popup now does NOT appear on mobile.

Ps. you may have to remove manually added messenger code from other pages and always check/test in private or incognito browser tab.

Where to type it?

Edit/open facebook-messenger-customer-chat.php and search for this line:
page_id=”.get_option( ‘fbmcc_pageID’ ).”

Add the following 2 lines right below it:
logged_out_greeting=Hi there.
greeting_dialog_display=hide

@havemaskwilltravel Sure, I have already used greeting_dialog_display='hide' with vertical quotation marks on my web, I just copied it wrong from elsewhere here in the forum but still, it doesn’t work :/. Tried version without quetation marks, same issue :/.

I’ve just checked on iPhone 5 Safari (incognito or private tab) and the popup message does not appear.

@havemaskwilltravel Yes, similar hint next door – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/there-is-any-way-to-hide-the-popup/#post-12863084. Partly, it looks like a browser (Chrome) issue. Unfortunately, Chrome has a majority market share.
