How to use the german translation

    My site (as well as the WordPress installation itself) is in German and I am wondering if there is a possibility to get the strings by default in German. I cannot see a possibility to switch the language. So all text is in English.

    Note: I do not need a multilanguage site – just one language (German).

    Currently I only see the possibility to manually overwrite the strings in the customizer… ??

    Hi @chriswoodner,

    User input strings like cookie bar message, different button texts, cookie policy content, etc are by default available only in English.

    You will have to edit/translate it manually.
