    Hello,

    first of all:
    I’ve searched the forums.
    The plugin is updated to the latest version.

    The menu show’s always a notification, you can see it here:

    I don’t know where does it come from at how to fix it. I clicked o every single page and opened Analytics and so on. I couldn’t find a clue that would solve the problem
    Does anyone of you have an idea?

    Best regards

  • @till040 thanks for your report. While the link above isn’t working for me at the moment, does this issue we are working on sound similar to the problem you’re experiencing: https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1540

    Im my case it disappears when you log in incognito. Has something to do with caching.

    @reneesoffice yes, it’s the same bug. Thanks for the link! ??

    @mastrigt I can confirm that.

    @till040 sure thing! Thanks also for the help @mastrigt! I’ll note it in the Github issue.

    I’m curious, if you clear the browser cache in the original browser does the notification go away?

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Hi Renee,
    Clearing the cache in the original browser made the notification sign go away. Solved. Thank You!

    thanks for the update @mastrigt ! Is it the same for you @till040 ?

    Nope, the notification is still there. I tested it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox (all at the latest version).

    @till040 thanks for the update, we’ll continue our investigation on the issue.

    @till040 we just released the latest version 1.13.0 which fixes this issue. Could you update and let us know if it is resolved for you?

    @reneesoffice first of all sorry for the late response. I checked my dashboard and the notification is still there.

    @till040 thanks for following up with us about this.

    Could you log into your WordPress admin from an incognito/ private browser, visit the Site Kit dashboard and let us know if the notification still displays without a banner (its supposed to show milestones for your site)?

    @reneesoffice
    The notification is still visible, even if I am in the Incognito browser. But only if I click on “Dashboard” or “G Site Kit” in the menu. The notification is not visible in all menu items below. Very strange.

    This is also valid for the Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

    @till040 thanks for the additional info!

    The visibility of the notification might correlate with where the milestone banner is supposed to display.

    Could you share your Site Health information here or through this form?

    This might help us determine if something with your setup is involved.

    @till040 since we have not heard from you, I am marking your topic as resolved. Please don’t hesitate to open a new support topic if you need further help.
