You have 2 options:

1. Solve the redirections: https://help.shortpixel.com/article/148-why-are-my-images-redirected-from-cdn-shortpixel-ai
2. Use ShortPixel Image Optimizer. It does everything you want but locally and without a CDN.

Yes, I wanted to opt for the Short Pixel Image Optimizer instead but as far as I understood it didn’t include the auto crop and auto resize functions.

Am I mistaken?

Those functions are only available in SPAI. Therefore, I recommend you to try to solve your redirections issue by following the above article ??
