Hi,

I’m trying to integrate the popup on a popup form from mailerlite.

I wonder what I should do to get this working (if it is possible).

What I tried so far is copying the HTML-code into the form, adding the necessary CSS etc. I manage to show the button but the functionality is not there. I suppose I will need to add some Ajax but I’m not sure what and how.

Are you trying to setup EDD product buy button in a Popup?

By copying the EDD code as HTML in a popup will not work. You need to use plugin shortcode.

@pratik-jain , thanks. I tried that too but the shortcodes are not recognized when I add them to these popups. The button does not appear.

Probably because these popups are not created in WordPress but in Mailerlite.

So when you add shortcode it display as it is right? like simple text [purchase_link]

A popup should appear after 5 secs.
Enter any (fake) email address. These end up in a test group, you will never get any mails.
Click, subscribe, a ‘success page’ will show. This is where I want to show the button.
You will see that it currently shows the simple text as you said. (between the text and the image).

FYI: After you subscribed the popup will not show again until you delete your cookies.

Thanks for the detailed response.

Yes, I can see the shortcode as a plain text it means the popup does not support the shortcode functionality within content.

No Issue, We can use purchase link instead of this. Easy Digital Downloads provide custom purchase link.

So you just need to take / create button (Anchor link) in popup content and apply href on it.
