Hi! I’ve implemented BuddyPress on my site but the sidebar doesn’t display on any BuddyPress page. I have followed these steps: https://docs.themeisle.com/article/946-neve-doc and made sure that I activate the right sidebar option in the customizer settings.

The BuddyPress pages don’t show in the WP page directory so I don’t believe I can change the individual settings for those. I have set up a sidebar and added content to it, it just doesn’t show on the BuddyPress pages while it does show on other pages just like I’d like it to.

Could you please help me resolve the issue?

    Thank you so much!

    Using WP 5.4.1
    Neve 2.7.1
    BuddyPress 6.0.0

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Which pages exactly from BuddyPress you want to have the sidebar on?

Hi Rodica, I’d like to have the sidebar on the buddypress member’s directory page. I called the sidebar with get_sidebar in the buddypress legacy members-loop.php file and that works to some extent (sidebar shows on the top of the page). The problem with that is that I can’t put that file into my child theme, since then the buddypress theme switches from nouveau to legacy, which is not what I want. So I worry that at the next buddypress update, the sidebar will be gone again.

Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi @stellamariee,

After reading your explanation, it more sounds like a question for BuddyPress and how to modify their plugin files with a child theme than Neve. Let me know if I’m missing your point.
