My product upload csv looks like this:

I uploaded my images to product_images folder inside uploads folder.

When I upload the sheet, the import fails with following message:

5USW, SKU PID/1 Unable to use image “21005-H-SLV-63-CONDOR-FRONT.jpg”.
5USW, SKU PID/2 Unable to use image “23007-A-BLK-GLD-62.jpg”.
5USW, SKU PID/3 Unable to use image “21005A-63.jpg”.
Aemic, SKU PID/4 Unable to use image “21010-E-BLK-GLD-62_CONDORTWO.jpg”.

In the sheet, I do not wish to use the URL but only the image name. On the link shared, it clearly says I need not use the URL, but only the image name if images are in product_images folder. Please help me out here

Use a pipe instead of a comma for first time upload.

Hi there,

Just to make sure – are you using the CSV Product Import Suite extension (i.e. https://woocommerce.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/) for which that documentation is written for OR are you using the CSV import function that comes with the core WooCommerce plugin itself?

In the event that you’re using the latter, please ensure that your CSV file is formatted according to these guides: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Product-CSV-Import-Schema

If it’s the former, please open a support ticket for that extension at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/tickets

@rk: I am using CSV import function that comes with the core WooCommerce plugin itself.

I had to use “import from server” plugin to import images from server (from folder mentioned) to wp media

@simmmiii I believe it was asked which import you were using due to the document you originally linked to was for the Product CSV Import extension. As RK mentioned, the proper formatting is here:
