Change order of breadcrumb links

I am having a problem displaying breadcrumb links in the correct order.

I have a post called Office Basics which currently has the breadcrumb order of: Home>The Basics>Students>Office Basics.

I have selected both the “Students” and the “The Basics” category for this post and have set the primary category to “The Basics” because, if I select “Students” as the primary category the “The Basics” category is not even displayed in the breadcrumbs.

“The Basics” category is a child category of the “Students” category and I would like the order of the breadcrumbs links to reflect that.

What I want to have is the breadcrumbs listed as: Home>Students>The Basics>Office Basics.

I am using Suffice 1.1.9 as a theme.

Any information on how I can change the order of the breadcrumbs to display as such would be very helpful!
