Nothing happens after search

  • Hi everyone,
    I have created the short code for my filter, it looks fine and shows my categories and the one custom Taxonomy hierarchy that i added there. i assigned those taxonomies to posts correctly and pretty sure that all the details are done right. The problem is when i click on Search, nothing happens it just refreshes the same page without any search results.
    I read in similar issue forum posts that it could be a result of broken plugin, but my plugins are working perfect and have never received an error for them in WordPress.
    Please let me know what other possible issues could be causing this case.

    Hi again,
    Apparently search results are properly seen only when the page template is set on Default (Theme default) but when it is set on Elementor Canvas it doesnt work. I have my design on canvas mode and dont want to change it to default, is there anyway to fix this on canvas mode?
