Unsubscribe to new posts via email – doesn’t work

    I’m trying to remove the checkbox from below the comments –
    “Subscribe to new posts and comments via email”

    I’m unchecking the relveant checkbox in the settings, but this doesn’t remove the option, it remains in the post.

    What can i do to remove it?

    Just to be sure, are you switching off “Enable the ‘subscribe to comments’ option on your comment form” and “Enable the ‘subscribe to site’ option on your comment form” at Jetpack > Settings > Discussion in your site’s Dashboard?
