Button to add the site to the home screen

  • Hi, congratulations for the plugin it is certainly the most complete I have found for WordPress.

    I wanted to know if there is a way to create a button or if there is a way to click on an element, to ask the system to add the site to the home screen.

    This could be useful when users ignore adding the site to the home screen or refuse the first time they browse the site and therefore we may invite you to do this again without going through the phone settings.

    Browsing I saw that there is certainly a way through Javascript to do this, for example I found this:

    I’ve tried the demo from both Chrome and Firefox and it works, but when I try to integrate this script into my site it doesn’t work.
