simple links template question

  • At least, it should be simple. I want to have the word “Links” above my list of links to be an image instead of text. I can find nothing in the links.php template or the wiki that suggests how to replace this.

  • i think you would have to edit the menu area of the page you want to do it on..for example. if its on the index you would edit the menu area in index.php.under menu..maybe something like..

    with this in it”li> <img src=”https://www.yourplace.com/images/buttons/links.jpg&#8221; border=”0″</lii think that might work, just add the < at the begining and the > at the end..i had to take it out because i cant figure out how everyone posts code on here..i am a total noob..hahaha

    but i am not sure if you can override the get linkslist code… give it a whirl, just backup your stuff before you tinker. i am a newbie and i am just winging alot of stuff. I am looking for and finding info here and thru the amazing resource sites of nuclear moose and podz .also some css help from htmldog. But like I said before..I am a beginner here with the wp..good luck

    This does not work, but thanks for the effort. The get_links_list code is the whole problem. I’m having a hard time believing that no one has ever cared to edit this part of their page before!

    you can use get_links as opposed to get_links_list

    that way it doesnt output the links category name leaving you free to do it yourself any way you want
