MidEvil Theme Released wp 1.2

  • I just released m flavored Manji theme called MidEvil. I have also included the files needed to somewhat integrate simple phpgallery into the site. All the instructions are included with the zip along with a blank header image.

    NOTE* This theme is for wordpress 1.2 only, i have the 1.3 version done, but i want to make the galler templates first.

    Well this sucks, its late i forgot to add a comment file, whoever downloaded it can grab the file in the zip, just overwrite the one you have. As well, replace the index.php, i had kittens show catagories plugin installed on my site and forgot to remove the code it used.

    The 1.5 version should be finished tommorrow night. I made a post with a preview of what i have so far on my site. I’ll try and remembber to change all the links and whatnot before i release it this time.

    Very nice and clean theme – I like it VERY much.

    BUt I think you should change it’s name … something with Queen or Royal Theme?! It somehow has a very classy and strong feeling to it. Nothing evil or old fashioned. Reminds me rather of walking down the red carpet in Harrods.

    Uh, I forgot – I dislike the search button down in the corner. A bit strange and misplaced to my liking.

    I don’t know – I kind of like it down there. I think it’s distracting when it’s at the top or taking up space where a header or banner could be.

    Anyway, love this theme (though I have to agree the name is kind of misleading and doesn’t really suit it). It’s terribly beautiful. Can’t wait for the 1.5 release – will definitely have to try it out!

    Thanks for the nice comments.

    I didn’t give much thought into changing the name. It was from a theme called MidEvil, that did have the “midevil” dark and dreary look in the beginning, it has been changed alot since then.

    When i release the new version I’ll try and think up a more suitable name for it. (if you any suggestions let me know)
