    Hi @abukamel007,

We’re sorry to hear that the plugin is not working correctly on your site. Usually, these issues are caused by a conflict with another plugin or theme.

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

am having the same issues, I uninstalled all plugins, and also used the twenty nineteen themes, but it didn’t work, also there isn’t any error when I checked the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin

@saintmalik If you are experiencing a similar problem we would recommend creating a new issue as this helps us in tracking as this can be caused by many different variables (WordPress version, other plugins, etc).

Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.4.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/
    ?
Also, can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v14.2? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Yeah I use the latest version of WordPress and yoast, I have carried out the troubleshooting, but even when yoast alone is activated the error still pops up, switch to twenty’s themes, the errors still pops up, I have created a bug issue via github

@saintmalik to carry out a conflict check using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, it would require that you enable troubleshooting mode, revert to a default theme such as TwentyTwenty, and then deactivate all of your plugins. You would then enable just the Yoast SEO plugin, and then activate your plugins one by one in order to check if there is indeed a conflict with one of your plugins.

    Hi @abukamel007 @saintmalik ,

We’re closing this thread because we haven’t heard back from you in a while. Should you have further questions, please open a new thread.
