• Hello,

I have a Hobby Blog (https://johnnysblogg.se) where I write about my work (in Swedish only).

I have used Mailpoet for a time and have now discovered a misbehaviour regarding Post Notifications.

I have WordPress (standalone) 5.4.1 with Mailpoet3 (3.47.1) and MailPoet3 Premium (3.0.86). I use the internal mailsending Service of Mailpoet.

I use Post Notifications with option “send immediately” to my 12 subscribers.

When I edit my Post Notifications template (for example changing the image in the header) and the activate the template it immediately sends a Post Notification even though the last Post was days ago.

Another misbehaviour I discovered occurred last Thursday. I posted a Post setting the date/time to Wednesday at 11.59 pm. Mailpoet sent immediately a Post Notification as it should. I then scheduled the Post for Thursday a couple hours later in order not to send two mails after each other.

The Post for Thursday was posted on my Blog at the scheduled time but no Post Notification was sent.
Today (Sunday) I was updating a link in a Post from year 2014 and now the Post Notification was sent with the Post from Thursday.

I’ve tried to explain the Problem as good as I can even though English isn’t my mothertongue.

    Best Regards
    Johnny
