STATE pulldown select list not allowing selection

Gday GiveWP support and users,

In my donations form, the STATE pulldown select list (frontend) is not allowing a selection to be retained.

I couldn’t find an answer in the forums, seems this is not a common issue…any ideas where I should look next?
